The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Completion Program is for aspiring professional pilots who have completed their Commercial Pilot License rating and are planning to pursue employment as a flight instructor — the most reliable way to build flight hours to reach the minimums that most airlines require. We developed the program because we recognized that many flight schools do not offer ratings beyond the Commercial Pilot License, leaving students without reliable ways to build the flight hours that airlines require. Students who join us for the CFI Completion program will have the ability to seek employment as a flight instructor upon completing the 6-9 month program. For international students, our F-1 visa makes it possible to work for a flight school as an instructor for up to 23 months after graduation. A Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Rating is required for a pilot to instruct other pilots—often the first step in a pilot’s career and a great way to gain flight hours. You can build up your own experience and credentials while sharing your passion for flying with other aspiring pilots. This course combines the techniques developed in the prior instructor courses with the knowledge and experience you learned in the Instrument training to ensure that you are safe and proficient to teach a student to fly in the clouds. The Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) Course allows you to gain the experience and training necessary to instruct private and commercial pilots in a multi-engine airplane. The essential program for pilots who wish to become flight instructors
